Privacy Policy

Your health is personal, and so is your information. This policy explains what I collect, why, how I protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to jessicamanning.com, my sales pages and forms, the BIOME app, and my coaching, nutrition and testing services.
“I,” “me” and “my” refer to Jessica Manning, operating as [Legal business name], based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I work with clients in Canada and the United States.
What I collect
Contact details: your name, email, phone number and location when you fill out a form, book a call, join my newsletter or buy something.
Health and wellness information: if you become a client, I may ask about your health history, symptoms, goals, nutrition, sleep, movement, medications and supplements, and lab or test results. I only collect what I need to support you.
Functional test results: if you buy a testing package, the lab (for example, for hair tissue mineral analysis or Tiny Health microbiome testing) sends your results to me so I can interpret them.
Payment details: payments are handled by secure third-party processors. I don’t see or store your full card number.
Website and email data: like most websites, my site and email tools collect basic information such as pages visited, links clicked, device and browser type, and whether emails are opened. This uses cookies and similar tools.
How I use your information
To respond to your questions and book calls
To deliver coaching, nutrition sessions, testing packages and the BIOME app
To process payments and keep business and tax records
To send my newsletter and occasional offers, only if you’ve signed up (you can unsubscribe any time)
To understand how my website and pages are used so I can improve them
I never sell your personal information, and I never use your health information for marketing.
Who I share it with
I share information only with trusted service providers that help me run my practice, and only what they need to do their job. These include:
Website, booking and email platforms (such as Squarespace and Dubsado)
Client management and coaching apps (such as Everfit, Movement and my practice management software)
Scheduling, video call and payment tools
Labs and testing companies, when you buy a testing package
Supplement dispensary (Fullscript), if I recommend supplements and you choose to order
My accounting software and accountant
Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States. Your information may then be subject to the laws of those countries. I choose providers that use industry-standard security.
I’ll also disclose information if required by law, or if I believe someone’s safety is at serious risk.
How I protect it
Your information is stored in password-protected, encrypted platforms. Access is limited to me and, where needed, a team member bound by confidentiality. I keep client records only as long as I need them for your care and for legal and tax purposes, then delete them securely.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to:
See the personal information I hold about you
Correct anything that’s wrong
Withdraw your consent or have your information deleted, subject to records I’m legally required to keep
Stop receiving marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link in any email)
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not work as well.
To make a request, email me at hi@jessicamanning.com. I’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re in Canada and aren’t satisfied with my response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
My services are for adults. I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.

These terms apply when you use jessicamanning.com, my sales pages, the BIOME app, or buy any of my coaching, nutrition or testing services. By using the site or buying a service, you agree to them. “I,” “me” and “my” refer to Jessica Manning, operating as Jessica Manning, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Not medical advice
I’m a certified personal trainer and functional nutrition counsellor, not a medical doctor. My coaching, nutrition guidance, test interpretation, app content, blog and emails are educational. They’re not meant to diagnose, treat or cure any disease, and they don’t replace care from your doctor or other licensed health professional.
Functional tests such as hair tissue mineral analysis and microbiome testing are wellness tools, not medical diagnostic tests. Please talk to your doctor before starting any new exercise, nutrition or supplement plan, especially if you’re pregnant, take medication, or have a medical condition. Never ignore or delay medical advice because of something you read or heard from me.
Exercise and your safety
Exercise carries some risk of injury. By joining a program or using the BIOME app, you confirm you’re cleared for physical activity and agree to work within your limits. Stop and seek medical care if you feel pain, dizziness or anything unusual. You take responsibility for your own participation.
Services and payments
Prices are listed on each sales page in USD or CAD, plus any applicable taxes.
Monthly coaching packages renew automatically each month until you cancel. To cancel, email me at least 7 days before your next billing date.
Testing packages include the cost of the lab test(s) and are paid in full upfront.
Session-based services (such as the Nutrition Breakthrough Session and Functional Nutrition Deep Dive) are paid in full when booked.
Rescheduling and missed sessions
You can reschedule a session with at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions missed or cancelled with less notice may be forfeited.
Refunds
Coaching packages: payments already made are non-refundable, but you can cancel future months any time as described above.
Sessions: non-refundable.
Testing packages: once a test kit has been ordered or shipped, the lab portion is non-refundable. The interpretation portion is refundable if you haven’t yet sent in your sample.
BIOME app: you can cancel anytime from your account. Cancelling stops future billing; you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Payments already made aren’t refunded.
BIOME app subscription
The BIOME app is available as a monthly or annual subscription and includes a 14-day free trial. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you’ll be billed automatically. Content may be added, changed or removed over time. Your login is for your personal use only; please don’t share it.
Results
Everyone’s body, history and circumstances are different. Testimonials on my site reflect individual experiences. I can’t guarantee any specific result, and your progress depends largely on your own consistency.
My content
Everything on my website, sales pages, app, programs and handouts (text, videos, workouts, recipes, images and materials) is owned by me or used with permission. You may use it for your own personal use. Please don’t copy, share, resell or publish it without my written permission.
Using this website
Please don’t misuse the site, try to access parts of it you’re not meant to, or post anything unlawful or harmful. The site may link to other websites; I’m not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, I’m not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any injury or health outcome arising from your use of my site, content or services. If I’m found liable for anything, my total liability is limited to the amount you paid me for the service in question.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site or services means you accept the updated terms.
